Is this actually safe?
Every incident runs in its own isolated, single-use Linux container. You get real root access to a genuinely broken environment - but it is sandboxed and disposable. Each container has no network access, dropped Linux capabilities, a process limit, and a hard memory cap, and it is destroyed the moment your session ends or the timer runs out. Nothing you do can reach other users or persist afterward.
Is it a real Linux environment or a simulation?
The labs are real, isolated Linux containers with a real shell and real root access - not a simulation. The homepage preview is a guided walkthrough so you can try the flow without signing up; the actual labs run live containers.
How is it sandboxed?
Each lab is a Docker container started fresh per session with networking disabled, all Linux capabilities dropped (only what the scenario needs is added back), a capped number of processes, a hard memory limit, and no-new-privileges. It cannot affect the host or other users.
What happens to my session and data?
The container is ephemeral. When you finish, exit, or the timer expires, it is stopped and removed automatically. We keep only your score and progress - never the container contents.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime from your account. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free tier and all Easy incident labs are free forever, no card required. You only add payment if you upgrade to Pro for Medium and Hard labs.
